Kongsted Arkitekter blev etableret i 1997 af arkitekter MAA, Susanne Kongsted og Steen Kornerup-Bang. I 2024 indtrådte Andreas Kongsted Voss, Bygningskonstruktør MAK som partner i virksomheden.

Vi har i dag mere end 30 års erfaring med transformation, restaurering og indretning af boliger og bygninger og vores kunder tæller både private og offentlige. De mange projekter i ind- og udland har gjort Kongsted Arkitekter til eksperter i at løse logistiske udfordringer, planlægge og kommunikere på tværs af kulturer. En procesorienteret dialog gennem hele projektfasen er vores speciale.

Vi er forankret i den nordiske arkitekturtradition og fokuserer på enkelhed og funktionalitet. Husets sjæl og stedets omgivelser er den primære inspirationskilde, når vi udarbejder designløsninger.

Vi sætter bæredygtighed højt i vores arbejde med restaurering og transformation, og vi sørger for at genanvende de eksisterende bygningsdele/konstruktioner, når det er muligt. I projektets indledende fase udarbejder vi sammen med kunden målsætninger for økonomi, sociale, kulturelle og miljømæssige faktorer. På den måde sikrer vi, at kvaliteten altid er i top.

Kongsted Arkitekter MAA. was founded in 1997 by Susanne Kongsted, Arkitekt MAA. The Studio has more than 30 years’ experience working worldwide within the field of existing housing and buildings including rebuilding, renovation, extension and interior design. The studio is managed by Susanne Kongsted in partnership with Steen Kornerup-Bang, Arkitekt MAA and since 2024 Andreas Kongsted Voss, Building expert MAK has joined the company as a partner.

Private clients, the government as well as local authorities are our main clients. The studio has become experts within the area of solving logistic challenges, planning and communicating across the borders of different cultures, based on the experience gained from many projects in Denmark and abroad. Our special focus throughout the process is the dialogue with the clients.

Kongsted Arkitekter MAA has roots in the Nordic architectural tradition with focus on simplicity and functionality. The soul of the place, the building and the surroundings are the basis for the inspiration on which we develop our designs.

Sustainability is an important factor today and consequently we focus on preserving as much as possible of existing structures, constructions and building materials. When using new building elements our focus is on production methods and utilising long lasting materials that become more beautiful with time.

Our design programs are developed in close collaboration with our clients with whom we set objectives relating to both economic, social, cultural as well as environmental matters.
